Muckleton Meats Farm Tour 

This is a rare opportunity to visit Smartstone Hollow, home of Muckleton Meats and Nanny Janny’s Jersey ice cream. Hosts, Jan and David will welcome you to their small holding deep in the Shropshire Hills. 

You will be introduced to the small herd of pedigree Jersey cattle that provide milk for their homemade ice cream (cow cuddles subject to availability), meet the pigs and pop your head into Sausage Central and Nanny Janny’s cupboard, where all the magic production takes place.

You will hear about their journey and set-up of the micro dairy and the keeping of high welfare pigs.  A supper of Muckleton meatballs, rice and salad, followed by some delicious Jersey ice cream will be served, where guests can chat to the hosts and ask questions.

Tickets must be purchased in advance, ticket price includes supper, please bring a folding chair and wear shoes/boots suitable for stepping through disenfection.
