A Slow Food Members event. The basic idea is that a cookery icon is chosen for the event, with everyone attending the meal bringing a dish made from a recipe by a well known chef or cookery writer for a shared meal to stimulate reminiscence, laughter and talk. For the next in our popular series of Cooking Conversations we have chosen arguably the most popular of food writers, Delia Smith. Dig out your old cookbooks and bring along a dish to share. There is always plenty of food and something for every taste. If you are coming with a partner who won’t be cooking, just get them to bring some wine
The event takes place at Jane & Hugh Cullen's home in Ludlow where it's possible to finish or reheat dishes although we expect the main cooking to have been done in advance. Arrive for 7.00 p.m. with a plan to eat at 7.30.
Although there is no charge, as you are providing the food, you must BOOK ONLINE as numbers are strictly limited. We anticipate strong demand from Slow Food members.
We are not asking you to commit to what you will cook because we want this event to be very informal. We always seem to end up with a good range of dishes, which magically come together to provide a delicious buffet with plenty of choice.
